Bio

João Silvério

Nasce em 1962. Mestre em Estudos Curatoriais pela Faculdade Belas-Artes da Universidade de Lisboa.

É curador da coleção de arte contemporânea da Fundação Luso-Americana para o Desenvolvimento.

Inicia a sua actividade como curador independente em 2003.

Ocupa o lugar de vice-presidente da Secção Portugesa da AICA – Associação Internacional de Críticos de Arte, desde Junho de 2012.

Cria o projecto EMPTY CUBE em Outubro de 2007 que tem apresentado projectos de artistas, designers e arquitectos.

Encontra-se a elaborar a dissertação da sua tese de doutoramento em Arte Contemporânea no Colégio das Artes da Universidade de Coimbra.
